History
Domaine des Braves has a rich and fascinating history, having belonged to the CINQUIN family for five generations. Paul CINQUIN, nicknamed “Paulo”, was a pioneer of pre-fermentation hot maceration, also known as thermovinification. He is also a leading figure in the world of cycling. As part of this, he organized a “Les retrouvailles” cycling race in Régnié, which brought together a large number of international professional riders in honor of Paul GUTTY.

The strength of the association
Clément DEGLAINE:

Graduated from ISARA-Lyon as an agricultural engineer in 2018. His first professional experience took him to Dijon, where he worked in the production of Dijon crème de cassis and spirits.
Victor GENTIEN:
co-manager of Domaine des Braves
A graduate of the same school, Victor specializes in viticulture, obtaining his national diploma in oenology in 2020. He then decided to train in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, a terroir renowned for the quality of its Grenache. This experience as second-in-command enabled him to develop rigor in his growing practices and in the winery.
When the opportunity arose to take over an estate in the Beaujolais region, Victor and Clément seized the chance to work with the Gamay grape variety, in which they took a keen interest, seeing in it the potential to produce both gourmet and fine, complex wines. When they discovered the Plateau des Braves, they were immediately seduced by the quality of its granite terroirs.

Beyond their commitment to producing quality wines, Victor and Clément are also passionate about creating moments of sharing around their wines. The Domaine des
Braves is more than just a winery, it is above all a place of conviviality:
organization of tastings, estate tours, open days, etc.
